Furniture works are constructed objects that sit between function and form. They are not resolved in advance; they are worked through materially until they arrive at a point where use and perception overlap.
Each piece begins with a familiar type—table, bench, chair—but is treated as a structure to be tested rather than a fixed idea. Material choices are direct and intentional, guided by how they hold weight, presence, and tension in space.
These works are not separate from sculpture. They operate as functional tableaus—quiet, grounded, and slightly unsettled in their resolution.
